Description

Clinical history: A 49 year old female with hypertension (200/1460 and a grade III retinopathy. The heart was clinically enlarged with pericarial effusion. The liver was also enlarged and widepread peripheral edema was present. Autopsy findings: 1. Left ventricular hypertrophy. ||2. Extensive atherosclerosis.||3. Bilateral small white granular kidney with relative hydronephrosis.||4. Acute hemoragic cystitis with chronic cystitis||5. Cerebellar bleeding. Diagnosis: Chronic pielonephritis.||Chronic cystitis with acute hemorragic cystitis.||Secondary renal hypertension with left ventricular hypertrophy.||Cerebellar bleeding.
